Pearls

Pearls

Postby boyzlikedeer » Wed Aug 05, 2009 6:21 pm

I have a double strand of pearls passed down from Grandma. The strands came apart. We did have a 1941 certificate of authenticity, which has been misplaced. I need to know where I would have these evaluated and possibly sold in Oakland California area?
Can you help?
Thanks, leah

Dear Leah,
You can send the strands to Mr.Peter B.Bazar, the president of Imperial-Deltah Inc.,The Bazar Group Inc. They can help you sell them soon. Probably you live in Oakland, California. It's very convenient for Imperial-Deltah Inc.to sell your valuable pearl strands in North America. You do not limit your pearls to be sold only in Oakland.
Good luck to you.
Kind Regards,
Vigor

Whoa, whoa, whoa! I don't think it wise to make those types of statements/offers, especially for a company not your own.

Imperial is not a pawnshop nor a consignment dealer. I highly doubt Peter would give this even a second thought. I know it is not a request we would ever entertain.

Jeremy is right Vigor, Imperial wouldn't buy the necklace. The necklace could however be bought to a local Jeweler whom does business with Imperial and the Jeweler could send in for restringing.

Hi Leah
The best thing for you to do is take this necklace to your local jeweler who has restringing on permises so they can restring right in front of you.
Then you should send this neckace to GIA to get the certfication wheather it is Natural pearls or Cultured pearls.
And if it is Natural pearls then you should contact a local jeweler again for appraisal and then go to few more jewelers to see what they want to buy this for and if you are happy sell it to the highest bidder.
And if you are still not happy then please send the image to CPAA.ORG and someone will help you.
Good Luck
